When you build a frameless cabinet you need to cover the front edge of your cabinet box.

This is something we just don't understand why everyone doesn't do it this way. We put on a solid wood edgeband. This is 3mm thick and we radius it into the cabinet box interior. This way we can stain and finish the front of your cabinet to match the color of your cabinet door exactly. Why would you want to put on a piece of plastic 1/2mm thick that does not match your door?
